Counselling for adults and families

Time2Talk Counselling

Counselling is accessed via various routes depending on the type of referral.  The Healthcare Provider or PMI will refer the individual for counselling via the EAP.

All referrals made to this service will be seen in a confidential space privately on a 1-2-1 agreement.  If more than one person needs counselling, then an alternative way of working may be more suitable.

Time4Parents

This is a specialised area in counselling to help support the parents and their child to work together.  The aim is to build a better relationship between them.  During the therapeutic process, the child develops their capacity to learn new skills that will encourage them to express their difficulties appropriately and safely.  Parents will be encouraged to use appropriate language to support their child’s learning and development.

This is community-based for parents & children unless specifically organised via the school.

Time4Families

Family therapy is provided to families where there is a break down in the unit.  We provide a specific therapeutic Family Support Work Programme that lasts up to 12 weeks.  There are usually 2 Practitioners on the programme to give extra support to individuals where necessary. In return we ask for a commitment and willingness to change from participants.

This is community-based for families unless specifically organised via the organisation making the referral.
